Pimping the 1980s is Risky Business
Cool hunters and corporate America consider this your final warning; pimping the 1980s is Risky Business!
And here’s why…
Nike recently paid homage to the 1986 cult-classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off by releasing some SB “Ferris Bueller” Dunks. The sneakers feature a leopard print tongue and matching laces, apparently inspired by FB’s leopard print vest.

SOMEBODY's verdict? Fail! Epic fail! The shoes are poo and belong in a zoo!
And more to the fricking point; wasn’t Ferris more of a Chuck Taylor Converse kid?
Even more recently Puma drew on an 80s classic releasing a limited edition sneaker called The Goonies Disc Blaze. On the ugly scale these shoes are right up there with Sloth himself!
Nice sack, though…

Thank you, Nike and Puma, for reminding us that ALL SEQUELS SUCK!
