So The Goonies Never Say Die...and neither do their fans!

On 4th-7th June 2010 the small town of Astoria, Oregon USA will host The Goonies Never Say Die 25th Anniversary Celebration!

The historic town hosed a similar celebration back in 2005 to celebrate the 20th Anniversary. 1000 fans rocked up to visit actual locations and mingle with cast members including Jeff Cohen (Chunk), Curt Hanson (Mr Perkins), and Sean Astin (Mikey).

The 1985 Steven Spielberg action adventure film remains a favourite at FABNOB headquarters.

For those in nappies in 1985 The Goonies is about a group of misfit kids who embark on a crazy adventure after finding a pirate treasure map.

It's got everything a kid could want: police chases, cool gadgets, booby traps, mistaken kisses, secret caves, pirate skeletons, hidden waterslides, Italian baddies, truffle shuffles, and Corey Feldman!

And who could forget Sloth... Sloth loves Chunk!
